“Slept like a baby…”

On behalf of every parent, everywhere, please allow me to say that “slept like a baby” is the WORST. EXPRESSION. EVER. We’ve all said it, sure, but for most–I suspect anyways–it was to illustrate a point of blissful slumber and peaceful innocence lost somewhere in a world of dreams… But the reality? HAH! Altered Expectations: Reflections of a birth story

Giving Birth is the ultimate test of going with the flow. Having gone through labour and a vaginal delivery with my first son, it seemed realistic to expect the same thing second time ’round.
